The Crow Wing County Fair is  among the five largest fairs in Minnesota, with annual exhibits numbering more than 6,000 and annual attendance estimated at 100,000. The 40-acre site is located on the southern edge of the City of Brainerd, MN.

Fun at the Fair:

  1. Stroll through the Youth Arts and Fine Arts building to see unique pieces by local artists.
  2. Attend an equestrian event at the Horse Arena.
  3. Try new foods! Like the honey sundae by the Minnesota Beekeepers Association.
  4. Enjoy free live entertainment, music and dancing every day at the Mills Free Stage.
  5. Get your heart pumping at the carnival rides and games. Fun for all ages from coasters to kiddie games.
  6. Watch a glassblowing demonstration by a master glassblower.
  7. Wander through the animal barns filled with livestock, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits and poultry.
  8. Definitely eat some kind of food on a stick.
  9. Learn about century-old tractors and cars at the Antique Tractor Display.
  10. See huge shows at the Grandstand: From bull riding to Baja rally races there is a different main event every day.
  11. Play bingo. Try your luck at this favorite game offered daily 12:00–8:00 p.m in the Curling Building.
  12. Enjoy the beer gardens (responsibly of course).
  13. Explore Kids Kountry. This agriculture learning center includes the FFA Kiddie Barn and hands-on activities.
  14. Play in the musical garden located on the East side of the grounds in the garden area. Bring the kiddos over and let them try out the drum and chimes.
  15. Admire the exhibits from the 4-H participants, Master Gardeners, and more.
