Brainerd Fishing Report: August 28, 2019

This weekly fishing report features multiple lakes in the Brainerd Lakes Area located in central Minnesota. It’s provided by Nate Berg Fishing Guides.

Water temps are down big time and the fishing has reflected it. Walleyes are moving a tad deeper but still relating to weeds for the most part. Some walleyes can be found on sharper breaks. Night crawlers and chubs are both great choices to put fish in the boat.

Bluegills and crappies have really put the feed bag on. Find them by trolling small crank baits or beetle spins. Pike have moved shallower and big jerk baits and sucked minnows will produce some of the bigger fish.
