This weekly fishing report features multiple lakes in the Brainerd Lakes Area located in central Minnesota. It’s provided by Nate Berg Fishing Guides.

Gull, Round, Edwards, North Long are all producing walleyes. The summer patterns are beginning to take a grip with fish starting to move a little deeper. Slow death rigs, crawler harnesses and leeches on live bait rigs are all working well. There is still a very solid night bite as well with trolling rattling jerk baits being the best bet.

Bluegills, crappies, bass and pike are all fully in their summer patterns. Look in the 12-20 foot marks on the tips of points and inside turns of weedlines.
