Bataan Memorial March

The Bataan Memorial March in Brainerd, Minnesota is an annual event held to honor the service and sacrifice of the brave men and women who fought and died in the Bataan Death March during World War II. It will be held this year on September 9th, 2023.

The general public is encouraged to register to engage with soldiers from their community. The march consists of a 5k, Half marathon, full marathon through the city of Brainerd. Participants can choose to march either running, rucking, or walking. At the beginning of the march, a ceremony is held at the Brainerd Armory, recognizing the courage and bravery of those who gave their lives in service of their country. The event is a great way to honor and remember the brave soldiers who fought and died in the Bataan Death March.
