Join us for a presentation on all kinds of plants and their care every month on the second Tuesday at noon!

This month’s presentation: “The Cutting Garden and Language of Flowers” by Crow Wing County Master Gardener Jennifer Knutson. The purpose of a cutting garden is to produce an abundance of flowers all season long to harvest and use in floral arrangements. Information will be presented on choosing the right plants to grow, techniques for better flower production, and how to care for cut flowers. Cultural flower traditions and the symbolic meaning attributed to some flowers will be discussed.
