Water Music – A Lakes Area Music Festival Live Concert
August 4 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm| $50
The Arts are more important today than ever! While we prepare to offer cutting edge digital performances featuring exceptional artists this summer, we will miss seeing you – our audience – in person.
Keeping the safety of our audience, artists, and community at the forefront of our planning, today we announce a one-night-only opportunity to hear our musicians live this summer!
Water Music will be presented on Tuesday, August 4 at the Gull Lake Yacht Club. Featuring Mozart’s Wind Serenade in E-flat, and other works for winds and brass, our LAMF musicians will serenade from the balcony as you enjoy chair seating distanced across the lawn on the shore of Gull Lake.
Seating is limited to the first 50 to register; a waiting list will be kept in the event that spots open up closer to the performance. A limited number of dock spots will be available for those on the Gull chain to boat to the performance. Outside food and beverage allowed. Bring a bottle of wine or a picnic to enjoy during the concert!
While this season has required the move to digital performances, we invite you to join us at an evening of live music, outdoors at the Gull Lake Yacht Club. For one night only, our LAMF woodwinds and brass will bring you a program including the Latin-inspired Requiem Milonga of Valerie Coleman and the charming Six Bagatelles of Gyorgi Ligeti, culminating with Mozart’s Wind Serenade in E-flat major.
Come by car – or by boat – to enjoy this plein-air concert with the Lakes Area Music Festival.
All ticket sales final.
This is an outdoor event and weather cannot be controlled. In the event of extreme temperatures, wind, rain, or any other weather-related problem this event may be cancelled. LAMF reserves full right to make this decision, with musicians and their instruments, and the audience in mind. In the event of cancellation due to weather, the cost of your ticket will become fully tax-deductible; no refunds will be given.
