As soon as winter settles in, it’s officially sledding season, and our community has no shortage of great hills to enjoy it. Bundle up, grab a sled, and make the most of the snowy days. Here are some of our favorite local sledding hills to check out this winter:

  • “Big Sev” located at Hitch Wayne Park and a bit of a hidden gem, is tucked in between South 6th and 7th Streets.
  • Brainerd High School has a big hill on the north side of the building; access it from either the lower parking lot on East River Road or the upper parking lot on 5th Street.
  • Northland Arboretum is open all day and lit at night until 10pm!
  • Trinity Lutheran Church has an impressive hill too and is a crowd favorite; this is located on South 6th Street.

All locations are perfect for the whole family to catch some air and enjoy the winter weather.
