Brainerd Community Theatre’s Spring Production On Stage Feb. 27–Mar. 2
Brainerd, MN—Stage North Theatre presents, “Fluoride the Musical,” a fun and playful spin on the fluoride debate of the 1960s and the role the City of Brainerd had in it—think dancing teeth, not politics. It re-examines Brainerd’s infamous battle to stay fluoride-free and the philosophical predicament that ensues when the city finds itself battling the state of Minnesota. With script and music by Roger Nieboer (Baby Face, 2018 and Paul Bunyan: the Man, the Myth, the Musical 2021), the show explores serious social issues with humor, compassion, and enough singing and dancing teeth to bring smiles all round.
