Outdoor Ice Rink Locations
If you’re looking for a fun way to get outdoors this winter in Brainerd, Minnesota, consider visiting one of the outdoor ice rinks located in the city parks. Both the cities of Baxter and Brainerd operate and maintain outdoor ice rinks that are free and open to the public. These locations are staffed during certain days of the week but when the warming houses aren’t open you may skate but at your own risk.
Baxter Outdoor Ice Rink Locations:

Baxter Outdoor Ice Rink Hours:
- Monday-Friday 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Starting hours will vary on the weekends.

Brainerd Outdoor Ice Rink Hours:
- Monday-Friday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday 12 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Loaner Skates:
There are free loaner skates at Memorial Park, Gregory Park & Bane Park during warming house hours, limited sizes and quantities.
