Today’s birding report comes from the Brainerd lakes area: Bald Eagle, Osprey, Cooper’s Hawk, Turkey Vulture, Broad-winged Hawk, Great-blue Heron, Sandhill Crane, Killdeer, Mallard, Canada Goose, Hooded Merganser, Common Merganser, Blue-winged Teal, Woodduck, Ring-billed Gull, Trumpeter Swan, Common Loon, Song Sparrow, Chipping Sparrow, Clay-colored Sparrow, Eastern Bluebird, Eastern Kingbird, Great-crested Flycatcher, Whip-poor- Will, Purple Martin, Cliff Swallow, Barn Swallow, Yellow Warbler, American Redstart, Black and White Warbler, Golden-winged Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Gray Catbird, Brown Thrasher, Cedar Waxwing, Wild Turkey, Red-winged Blackbird, Red-breasted Nuthatch, House Finch, Purple Finch, Eastern Phoebe, Baltimore Oriole, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Chimney Swift, Northern Flicker, Pileated Woodpecker and Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
