This weekly fishing report features multiple lakes in the Brainerd Lakes Area located in central Minnesota. It’s provided by Nate Berg Fishing Guides.

Area wide, the walleye bite continues to be hot and the active fish remain in the 8-18 foot depths. Crawlers, either on a harness or a slow death rig have been the best option but long lining red tails and sucker minnows on jigs have also been producing a few. There is a great low light into dark trolling bite picking up again.

Crappies are starting to pick up off the tips of points. Bluegills can be found in the weeds on the same locations.
