Brainerd Fishing Report: December 11, 2019
This weekly fishing report features multiple lakes in the Brainerd Lakes Area located in central Minnesota. It’s provided by Nate Berg Fishing Guides.
More snow put more slush on the lakes that were already frozen over but this week’s deep freeze has helped some. All lakes are now frozen over but by all means use extreme caution because ice thickness is still quite variable.
Some walleyes are being caught on Gull Lake in 14-25 feet. Dead sticks and spoons tipped with minnows have been the best bet. Some crappies and bluegills can be caught in some of the smaller lakes in the area on weed lines as well as in the deeper basin holes.
