Brainerd Fishing Report: December 4, 2019
This weekly fishing report features multiple lakes in the Brainerd Lakes Area located in central Minnesota. It’s provided by Nate Berg Fishing Guides.
The Ice conditions around Brainerd are at the point I suggest not fishing at all. We have had up to nearly two feet of snow in areas and the little ice we had was soft. All the weight on the ice as allowed water to soak through and is very slushy. Some of the bigger lakes are still not frozen over so when this next cold front hits, it shouldn’t take long to have fish-able ice in some locations.
If you are going to fish, please use extreme caution because the current ice conditions are extremely dangerous.
