Smaller Lakes Have Decent Ice
We finally have some decent ice in the Brainerd Lakes Area on some of the smaller lakes. Hole in the Day Bay on Gull just opened back-up again. Use extreme caution no matter where you attempt to fish.
Some walleyes are biting on Round. Look for gold spoons or natural colored jigging raps. Dead sticking shiners is also working. Panfish are going good on North Long as well as on several of the smaller lakes in the area. Mid-day bites really depend on the lake.
