Brainerd Fishing Report: January 15, 2020
This weekly fishing report features multiple lakes in the Brainerd Lakes Area located in central Minnesota. It’s provided by Nate Berg Fishing Guides.
We finally got some good ice all around the Brainerd area, however with the forecast including more snow look for some slushy areas to return.
Walleyes have been hot and heavy on Gull Lake with an all day bite occurring quite frequently. On Hubert, North Long and Round lakes the bites continue to be low-light bites.
Crappies, bluegills and pike all continue to be active in smaller lakes. Some of the green weeds are beginning to die so the weed line bites are transitioning towards more of the basin areas.
