Walleye fishing continues to be hot all over the Brainerd area. If you can find cabbage, you are going to find walleyes. We are starting to see a few fish move on the deeper edge in 12-16 feet but some very large fish continue to stay shallow in the 6-10 foot range. Gull, North Long, Edwards and Hubert are all popping out good numbers of fish. Many of the smaller lakes are also producing.

Both largemouth and smallmouth continue the good bite. Pike are being found off shoreline breaks in 12-18 feet. Crappies have moved to their summer haunts on points and weeded inside turns and the bluegills are beginning to move deeper as well.
