Enjoy a Retro-style Event
Brainerd, MN—During the summer of 2020, the operators of The Woods Events Center and b’Merri restaurant just outside of Brainerd got creative. They opened a drive-in movie theater as a way to attract business during the uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The drive-in allows patrons to pull into a parking lot, sit in the back of a truck or vehicle, and watch a movie while social distancing. Food from the on-site restaurant is available for purchase as are snacks. There have been movies playing at dusk most Thursday and Friday nights all summer but due to popular demand the operators have decided to have an extended season. Here are the dates and featured films for the rest of the year including a “spooky series” of movies perfect for the Halloween season.
