Forestview Trails

The Dean Makey school forest is a designated MN School Forest. The forest is used for science activities, nature observation, trail-walking, and cross-country skiing. Active forest management is being practiced. The trails are well-marked, and there are overlook areas near the wetlands. A parking area is located across from the Southdale soccer fields. This is one of the most used school forests in the state. Forestview contains trails for all experience levels.
