Brainerd Fire Department Open House

Brainerd Fire Department invites you to our Open House on Thursday, October 10 from 5 to 7 pm at the Laurel Street Fire Station to learn about fire safety, tour the station, and meet the firefighters along with other emergency providers.
Fire Prevention Week is October 6-12 and this year’s theme is “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you”
Cooking causes nearly half of all home structure fires. Always stay in the kitchen while cooking and never leave your cooking appliance unattended.
Be sure to replace your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms every 7 to 10 years, and change the batteries every six months.
