Kids Fishing Clinic
June 8
Join us for an enriching day at Lum Park! Our FREE Kids Fishing Clinic on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, promises a memorable experience for children aged 4-12. Under the guidance of mentors, participants will enjoy informational sessions, lunch, exciting fishing experiences from both shore and pier, and even take home some fishing tackle as mementos of the day.
This event promises fun for the whole family! However, please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event. To ensure full participation and eligibility for the afternoon’s highlights—including the fishing contest and prizes—children must be signed in by 9:30 a.m. and engage in all learning stations.
We’ve tailored the day to cater to different age groups, with fishing contests for ages 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. We encourage children to bring their own fishing poles, although we do have a limited supply of loaner equipment available.
