Legacy Chorale Hosts: Choir Craze Festival Concert

| Free – $20Choir Craze is a one day festival hosted by the Legacy Youth Chorale. Singers from around the Brainerd Lakes Area are invited to come together to workshop music and perform in the finale of a public concert at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts.
The concert begins at 2:00 pm and includes the Legacy Youth Chorale’s fall program, concluding with a performance by the entire festival choir. The program explores poignant text, using imagery of light throughout to communicate feelings of warmth, comfort, and joy.

‘Sending You Light’ by Melanie DeMore. This song invites audience participation on the simple, but powerful refrain. Verses will be performed by LYC soloists.
‘Be the Light’ by Franklin Willis. This upbeat gospel-style tune uses memorable phrases to encourage listeners to work together, shine, and be the light! This energetic finale will have the audience tapping their toes and clapping along!
This concert is by kids – for kids! Youth of all ages, including families with small children, are encouraged to attend.
