Opening Reception: Tangled Tales by Layl McDill
January 10 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The Crossing Arts Alliance proudly presents “Tangled Tales,” an exhibition by Minnesota artist Layl McDill. Using polymer clay and found objects, McDill creates playful, intricate pieces that honor animals that have been affected by climate change. In this collection, she explores her inner conflict between using polymer clay, a plastic, and her desire to reduce waste and do right by the planet.
Join us on Friday, January 10th for an opening reception! Meet the artist, enjoy snacks, and marvel at these wonderful works of art. On Saturday, January 11th, McDill will lead two events at The Crossing: a polymer clay class, “Millefiori Magic,” from 10am-12pm, and a lecture on “The Business of Art” at 1pm, sharing tips and tricks for aspiring artists.
