Brainerd, MN—Curling is a team sport, played on ice, where two teams take turns sliding granite stones toward a target of concentric circles. This Olympic sport is thought to have been established in Scotland in the 16th century but Canada is credited with its development as a sport. If you are looking for a fun way to spend time indoors, but still on the ice, then consider curling.

The Brainerd Lakes Curling Club is a membership organization that hosts bonspiels, leagues, and special events. Their home is the Fran Holden Curling Arena which is located at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds. This winter there are several open curling opportunities.
