Initiative Foundation Offering Training Program Focused on Creating New Businesses in Brainerd
Do you have an interest in living and working in Minnesota’s Playground? Are you already here but have a budding business idea? Then consider applying for the Initiative Foundation‘s Enterprise Academy – Brainerd Cohort which starts on September 15, 2020.
Apply to participate in the Enterprise Academy, where you’ll learn from business experts and create your own individual business plan. Classes are held once per week for 12 weeks and feature training specifically tailored to you, with one-on-one assistance available to help create a realistic business plan.
Successful applicants will be assessed a minimum $100 fee based on a sliding income scale. Priority will be given to applicants who are interested in creating or expanding visible businesses in Brainerd’s River-to-Rail corridor and, secondarily, Brainerd’s other legacy commercial districts. Businesses to be located outside of these areas may be admitted on a space available basis.
