Brainerd’s Annual Ice Fishing Tournament to be Held Jan. 28
Brainerd, MN—The Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, on Gull Lake. The event draws more than 10,000 participants each year and anglers compete for more than $200,000 in prizes. Tickets are now available for purchase online, through the mail, and at Fleet Farm stores. Participants can buy fishing contest tickets, add-on prize package tickets (called the Catch-of-the-Day), and raffle tickets. On Dec. 1 tickets will be available at additional outlets.
First held in 1991, this event is hailed as the world’s largest charitable ice fishing tournament, and all event proceeds are donated to local charities. More than $4-million has been donated to date. For the most up to date information visit icefishing.org.
